QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

THE ROLE

We’re looking to appoint a Quality Control Technician to support our expanding Quality Control Department. Assessing the quality of bespoke incoming and outgoing components, the Quality Control Technician will ensure production standards are met and maintained on a variety of high-performance projects – ensuring our continued success on some of the world’s most acclaimed motorsport series.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Full inspection of a wide range of technical components, from both internal and external suppliers, to ensure they meet our specific requirements and standards.

  • Identifying defects, Raising NCR Reports and reporting non-conformances to the relevant Engineer.

  • Inspecting certificates from suppliers and confirming certificates are correct.

  • 3D Scanning of parts (training will be provided).  

  • Operating the CMM (PC-DMIS 2024) Programming not essential.

  • Full use of bench tools E.g. Micrometres, callipers, Thread gauges, Surface finish, Hardness testing

  • Laser etching components for full traceability and maintaining in-house documents

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

You should be willing to assist the department in busy period, which also includes to cover the laser etching machine (training will be provided).

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

You should have strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach.
