Éric Camilli (2nd RC2) said:

“I think it has been a good weekend for us and I was really pleased with our performance. We didn’t have a pre-event test before this rally and still we were able to challenge the locals which isn’t so bad for a Frenchman!

“The highlight was definitely setting the fastest time through both passes of Ouninpohja. I missed that stage last year so that was very good. I really enjoy this rally and we had a very natural feeling with the driving.”

Max Vatanen (6th RC2) said:

“For a Finn, driving here is something really special. When you see all the support – all the people on the stages and all the flags – it is amazing. The car worked really well but I was still not totally satisfied with my performance. We have enjoyed the rally, but we have some work to do to close the gap at the next one.”

Osian Pryce (4th WRC 2 / 7th RC2) said:

“Fourth place is beyond my expectations and we’re really pleased with that. Fifth was probably my top expectation so it has been a great weekend for us.

“To get to the end after the problems in Poland is a big, big achievement. It is a difficult rally and we didn’t deliver the perfect weekend. We could have been faster in places, but we have learnt a lot and this definitely gives us something to build on for the future.”

Pierre-Louis Loubet (7th WRC 2 / 14th RC2) said:

“At the start of the rally we were setting very good pace, but I made a little mistake with big consequences. After that, I was a little more cautious in the driving but I still took a lot of pleasure from these stages.

“Rally by rally our pace is getting better and better which is really cool – we just need to cut out the little mistakes. Once we do that, I think that we can fight for the good results.”

Gus Greensmith (8th WRC 2 / 15th RC2) said:

“We’ve been a bit unlucky and had a few problems throughout the weekend, but when everything is going well it has been really good.

“We had a really strong time on the first stage this morning (SS22), and a little mistake on the second one which cost us another stage win by half a second.

“We then had what I would call a huge moment on the first repeated stage (SS24) but we still managed to set the fastest time which was great.

“Then on the last one (SS25), we just wanted to get through it and make sure we made it to the end of the rally.

“The car was working well today, Craig was on form, and I was really pleased with my driving – so no complaints there at all.”
